Abstract:
To provide a cutting device capable of well cutting even thin and soft objects that are easy to generate cutting defects, and to provide a printer equipped with the cutting device.SOLUTION: A cutting device 100 is equipped with a first frame 81, a fixed blade 101, a moving blade 105, and a pressing member 50. To the first frame 81, a fixed blade 101 is fixed, and the moving blade 105 is supported so as to vertically move. At a lower end of the fixed blade 101, a first blade 101A is formed. At an upper end of the moving blade 105, a V-shaped second blade portion 102 is formed, and at a lower end, a contacting portion 109 contacted with the first frame 81 is formed. The moving blade 105 is pressed forward by the pressing member 50. Assuming a triangle having a first point P and a second point Q at which the second blade portion 102 is brought into contact with the first blade portion 101A, and a third point R at which the contacting portion 109 is brought into contact with the first frame 81, as a virtual triangle T, a pressing position S at which the pressing member 50 presses the moving blade 105 is included in the virtual triangle T.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
