To detect a failure of a screwing state of a fixing nut.SOLUTION: A cutting device is equipped with a cutting unit that has a spindle, and is installed with an annular cutting blade at a tip end portion of the spindle via a blade mount, and a determination unit that determines a state of the cutting blade in the blade mount. The determination unit has a second channel that is connected to a first channel of a mounter of the blade mount and acts negative pressure or positive pressure on the first channel, a measuring apparatus that obtains a measurement value of at least one of pressure in the second channel and a flow rate of a fluid flowing in the second channel, a screwing state determining portion that determines that a screwing state to a boss portion of a fixing nut is unsatisfactory when the measurement value when negative pressure or positive pressure is acted on the first channel indicates an abnormal value while the fixing nut is at least partially screwed with the boss portion of the mounter on which the cutting blade is disposed, and a notifying portion that reports the determination result of the screwing state determining portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
