PURPOSE: To provide a cutting device wherein suction force in divided suction chambers is individually controlled steplessly and also energy consumption can be substantially reduced when the suction force is reduced, in the cutting device for cutting a sheet material of cloth or the like.

CONSTITUTION: When a cutting head performs cutting in a range corresponding to a suction chamber 21, the first blower 61 is 100% operated, the second blower 62 is continuously changed from 0% to 100% in accordance with a position of the cutting head, and the third blower 63 is stopped. When the cutting head is in a range corresponding to a suction chamber 22, the first blower 61 is continuously changed from 100% to 0%, the second blower 62 is 100% operated, and the third blower 63 is continuously changed from 0% to 100%. When the cutting head is in a range corresponding to a suction chamber 23, the first blower 61 is stopped, the second blower 62 is continuously changed from 100% to 0%, and the third blower 63 is 100% operated.
