Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting implement of a bamboo sword in which the surface of the bamboo of the sword can be cut easily and safely.
SOLUTION: The cutting implement 10 of the bamboo sword has a cylindrical main body 1 having a through hole 1b formed along the central shaft 1a, a grip part 2 which is formed on the peripheral surface of the main body 1 and gripped by an operator to hold the main body 1, and a cutting blade 3 set in the inside edge part of at least one end part 3a of the main body 1. The bamboo 21 of the sword 20 is made to be inserted into the through hole 1b of the main body 1. The bamboo 21 is inserted, the main body 1 is slanted, and the cutting blade 3 is brought into contact with the surface of the bamboo 21. In this state, the surface of the bamboo 21 can be cut.
