To attempt to shorten the machining time to reduce the manufacturing cost and to effectively use the installation space by automatically and efficiently conducting various machining steps in time series by once positioning a work.
The cutting machine comprises a work holder 14 for positioning and holding a work at a predetermined position, a perforating unit 16 for perforating single or a plurality of holes by displacing in X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis directions perpendicular to each other to the positioned and held work, a cross cutter 18 having a first cutter 114 and cutting the work in the direction substantially perpendicular to the axis direction by the driving operation of a third motor 112, and a slit machining unit 20 having a second cutter 136 disposed substantially perpendicularly to the cutter 114 and slitting the work along the axis direction by the driving operation of a fourth motor.
