Abstract:
To provide a cutting method and a cutting device that shorten time taken for processing, without affecting the quality of processing.SOLUTION: A cutting method comprises: a cutting step in which a cutting blade is fed while processing, from a cutting start position to a cutting finish position; a raising step ST6 in which the cutting blade is accelerated and raised; an indexing feed step ST7 in which the cutting blade is indexed and fed relative to a work piece; and a second positioning step ST8 in which the cutting blade is positioned to a cutting start position in a second cutting line. When the cutting blade reaches a cutting finish position in a first cutting line, the raising step ST6 is started without stopping the feed and processing. In the raising step ST6, the acceleration and raising are stopped for deceleration when a predetermined height is reached, and the indexing feed step ST7 is started to perform the second positioning step ST8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
