Abstract:
To enable grasping that an attaching/detaching jig is mounted on a spindle while suppressing the attaching/detaching jig from colliding with another member.SOLUTION: A cutting method includes: a blade fitting step ST1 of fixing a cutting blade to a tip of a spindle using an attaching/detaching jig; a cutting step ST5 of rotating the spindle at a predetermined rotation frequency and cutting a workpiece with the cutting blade after executing the blade fitting step ST1; and a detection step ST2 of detecting a change in a rotation frequency in a constant time of the spindle which starts to rotate from a stop state, or a change in a current value of a spindle motor in a constant time, after executing the blade fitting step ST1 and before executing the cutting step ST5. It is determined whether or not the attaching/detaching jig is removed based on the change in a rotation frequency or a current value detected in the detection step ST2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
