Abstract:
To provide a cutting method of a metal powder injection compact capable of cutting it as designed without damaging a product.
A metal powder injection compact 3 is cut by making a cutter 1 contact with a part to cut on the metal powder injection compact 3 and advancing it in the cutting direction by using the heated cutter 1. It is possible to vibrate the cutter 1 instead of heating it. The cutter 1 can be also arranged free to advance and retreat in a metal mold.
