PURPOSE: To obtain circular materials for bearings without born, by making notch on the inner circular surface of the pipe and cutting the said part by die press from outside.

CONSTITUTION: While being revolved around the eccentric (a) edge that is fixed to the edge holding shaft 8, the inner surface of the pipe 3 is cut and the circular notch 4 is made. The die press 5 is mounted outside the pipe 3, which is pressed to the notch 10 preliminarily made corresponding to the notch 4. As the die press 5 proceeds from outside, cracking and shearing occurs and the pipe is cut. This helps prolong the life of the edge and the secondary working can be spared.
