Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cutting part in a cutting tool, by which either of a hard metal bar and a soft metal bar can be surely received stably so as to be precisely cut in the predetermined position and no dangerous flash is generated in the cutting face even if a workpiece, which is a metal bar softer than steel, such as a trolley wire for an electric car is cut.
CONSTITUTION: A cutting part in a cutting tool is constructed of a fixed blade 3 arranged in a head frame in a cutting tool and a movable blade 2 arranged movably forward/backward to the cutting working face in the fixed blade 3, and on a workpiece receiving face in the fixed blade 3, an insertion recess part 3', to which a front face part of the workpiece is inserted, is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the workpiece.
