Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to carry out cutting work of a moving steel plate in a preset length unit while enabling to reduce a protruded amount when the steel plate is stopped.
SOLUTION: In a device which is provided with a moving means to move a steel plate 1 to a given direction and a shear speed control means to carry out cutting work of a moving steel plate 1 in a given preset length unit so that the speed of the shear and the steel plate 1 is identical, a control means to control the moving means so that the steel plate 1 is moved in accordance with a speed pattern which is previously determined, is provided. The speed pattern is a pattern which determines that when the steel plate is stopped, the speed of the steel plate 1 becomes a given speed which is smaller than the speed before it is stopped, and when the speed of the steel plate 1 is at this fixed speed, the cutting work by the shear is carried out, and the control means controls the moving means in accordance with this speed pattern.
