Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cutting tool which can form a nonspherical curved face which has wholly minute roughness and excellent smoothness.
CONSTITUTION: The central part 13 of the cutting edge 12 of a cutting tool 11 is formed to be smooth, and at least either of both its end parts is formed into a round shape, and the cutting tool 11 is mounted on a supporting arm where the relative sliding direction to a workpiece and the axial center direction of rotation incline mutually.
