To solve the following problems: it is difficult to cut an ingrown nail or the like that is thick and hard in the middle of the length direction by a nail clipper with an oblique blade due to the presence of shearing force; and a nail clipper with a straight blade cannot feed the top of the ingrown nail buried into a finger to its cutting position.

In the nail clipper 10, a cutting section 21a is formed on the top position in the back and forth direction of a fixed blade 21. A cutting section 22a is formed on the top position in the back and forth direction of a moving blade 22 which moves straight with respect to the fixed blade 21. In addition, a cutout C2 is formed in a part of the cutting section 21a of the fixed blade 21 in the range of 90°±45° with respect to the back and forth direction.
