Abstract:
To provide: compounds that improve sensitivity characteristics of a xerographic photoreceptor when contained in a photosensitive layer; and a xerographic photoreceptor excellent in sensitivity characteristics.SOLUTION: The compounds are represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), X represents a sulfur atom or oxygen atom; Y represents an oxygen atom, cyanoimino group or dicyanomethylene group. The xerographic photoreceptor comprises a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer, where the photosensitive layer is a monolayer and contains a charge generator and a compound represented by general formula (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
