Title:
CYANOETHYLATED GRAFT POLYMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3474724
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cyanoethylated graft polymer excellent both in resistance to polar solvents and in ionic conductivity by grafting a polymer chains formed from a specific cyanoethylated (meth)acrylic monomer onto the main chain of a hydrocarbon polymer contg. butadiene units.
SOLUTION: This cyanoethylated graft polymer is obtd. by grafting a cyanoethylated (meth)acrylic monomer represented by the formula [R1 is H or CH3; R2 is a residue formed by removing all the OH groups from an (m+1)-valent polyhydroxy compd.; and m is an integer of 1 or higher] onto a hydrocarbon polymer having butadiene units in the molecule. Examples of the hydrocarbon polymer include a styrene-butadiene copolymer, a styrene- butadiene-styrene block copolymer, a styrene-butadiene block copolymer, and polybutadiene.
