PURPOSE: To provide a new compd. which is effective to treat, prevent or control renin-associated hypertension, hyperaldosteronism, congestive heart failure and galucoma.
CONSTITUTION: This compd., for example a compd. expressed by formula IV is expressed by formula I. In the formula I, A is H, Het (Het is a 5- to 7-member single ring or 7- to 10-member bicyclic group containing one or two N atoms), aryl, R2CO (R2 is alkyl which may be substituted), R2SO2 or the like; B is CH2-CH((CH2)rR3)CON (R11) (r is 0 to 2; R3 is H, alkyl, aryl or the like, R11 is H or alkyl), O-CH[(CH2)rR3]CO- N(R11) or the like; A and B may be bonded to form formula II, formula III (V is 1 to 3; W is 1, 2; R24 are H, alkyl, or the like; R25 is alkyl, NH2, OH or the like) or the like; R1 is alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or the like; R15 is alkylaryl, imidazol-4-yl or the like; R16 is H, alkyl, aryl or the like; t is 1 to 4; Y is OCO, CH2CO or the like; W is O, NR23 (R23 is H or alkyl); Z is NH2, OH, OPO3H2 or the like; D is absent, CH2O or CH2S.
