To obtain a cyclohexadiene polymer solution reduced in thermal deterioration and improved in processability, dielectric properties, water resistance, heat resistance, and transparency by dissolving a specified cyclohexadiene polymer in a solvent.

This solution is prepared by dissolving 0.1-70 wt.% at least one polymer selected from a cyclohexadiene polymer with its main chain represented by the formula (wherein A is a 1,3-cyclohexadiene monomer unit; B is a chain-like conjugated diene monomer unit; C is a vinylaromatic monomer unit; D is a polar monomer unit; E is at least one monomer unit selected from an ethylene monomer unit and an α-olefin monomer unit; a+b+c+d=100; 10≤1≤100; and 0≤b, c, d, or c<90) and having a number-average molecular weight of 5,000-5,000,000 and a hydrogenated polymer derived by hydrogenating 0.1-100% of the C-C double bonds of the former in at least one solvent selected among an aliphatic hydrocarbon, an alicyclic hydrocarbon, an aromatic hydrocarbon, an ether, and a halide thereof each of which has a boiling point of 350°C or below.
