PURPOSE: To obtain a titled device capable of preventing dust from rescattering and of improving the efficiency of a cyclone, by providing a dust chamber and another whirl chamber communicated with each other on the downstream of a whirl chamber in the inside of a casing, and providing an open port, communicating to the dust chamber, to a partition wall member which forms said another whirl chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Air is sucked 19 into a casing 20 to be formed into a whirl flow in a whirl chamber A, and is flowed downward into a whirl chamber B. At that time, comparatively coarse dust in the air is centrifugally separated to fall downward along the wall surface of casing 20 and a guide plate 16 together with the air flow, and successively flows into a dust pan 15 formed by the plate 16 and a whirl plate 17 to be scattered on the bottom of dust pan 15 while whirling further in a circumferential space of the plate 17. And the air after having scattered the comparatively coarse dust flows again to the bottom surface 13a of a filter element 13 through a space 27 formed by the plates 16, 17 to capture fine dust by the element 13. Further, the conical plate 16 turns the air flow several times to improve the separating efficiency.
