Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are H, alkyl, aralkyl or bonded together with adjacent N to form a heterocyclic group; R3 is H or 1-3 halogens).
EXAMPLE: 3(R)-[3-cyclopentanone-1(R)-carboxamido]-4-oxo-2(S)-phenyl-2,3,4,5- tetrahydro-1,5-benzothiazepine-5-acetamide.
USE: A cerebral function improving agent applicable by oral administration and having low side effect.
PREPARATION: The objective compound can be produced by reacting a carboxylic acid (or its reactive derivative) of formula II with a compound of formula III.
