Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely feed cylinder liners from the respective carrying chutes of a carrying passage to the respective aligning chutes of a feed passage.
CONSTITUTION: This cylinder liner feed device is constituted of a carrying passage 20 in which inclined carrying chutes to rollingly carry many cylinder liners S are arranged into four lines according to the number of cylinders of an engine, and a feed passage 30 which is continued to the lower part of the carrying passage 20 and bent at right angles with the carrying passage 20, and having aligning chutes 31 in which the cylinder liners S are received one by one from the respective carrying chutes 21. Every carrying chute 21 is provided with a first and a second stoppers 50, 51 to classify the each cylinder liner S, and additionally a third stopper 52 is provided in the vicinity of the feed passage 30 on the lower stream side of the second stopper 51 and on the position of same distance from the position where the cylinder liner S is received with the aligning chute 31, and from here the cylinder liner S is fed to the aligning chute 31.
