Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock capable of being locked and unlocked by a single-keyway key even in a state where side faces of the key are turned upside down.SOLUTION: A cylinder lock 10 is locked and unlocked by a single-keyway key 40 with a key plate 11. Vertically asymmetric inner groove 43 is formed in a key width direction only on one side face of the key plate. The cylinder lock comprises: a cylindrical rotor case 12; a key insertion hole 21, which is rotatably stored inside the rotor case 12 and formed in a rotation axis direction; a rotor 20 with multiple tumbler housing holes 24 that communicate and intersect with the insertion hole 21; and multiple tumblers 30, which are movably stored in the tumbler housing holes 24 through a spring member 27 and have a tumbler hole 33 that communicates with the key insertion hole 21. The tumbler hole 33 comprises: a first engagement projection 36a capable of engaging to the inner groove 43; and a second engagement projection 36b capable of engaging to the inner groove 43 in a state where side faces of the key plate 11 are turned upside down.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
