Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rotate a rotor for a cylinder lock having high resistance force to destruction without generating eccentric force.
CONSTITUTION: A complementary-shaped recessed section, into which a columnar projection 27a and a lug are fitted, is formed at another end section of a key cylinder 2 or a rotor 3. The columnar projection 27a and the lug and the recessed section are fitted, and the revolving torque of the key cylinder 2 is transmitted over the rotor 3. A projection 28 in the radial direction formed at the other end section is engaged with a notched section formed in the radial direction at one end section of the key cylinder 2 and the rotor 3 when the key cylinder 2 and the rotor 3 are arranged in a case 1, and the key cylinder 2 and the rotor 3 are brought near relatively, and inserted into the case 1. When a key is inserted into the keyhole of the key cylinder 2 and turned, the revolution of the key cylinder 2 is transmitted over the rotor 3 without generating eccentric force by the engagement of the lug and the recessed while the slipping-off of the key cylinder 2 can be prevented by the engagement of the notched section and the projection 28.
