Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the fitting part of a tumbler key or the tops of key wave from abrading.
CONSTITUTION: A key rotor 5 is pushed into a cylinder body 1 to manipulate a key 1. A rotor can 14 regulating the transfer of tumblers 9, 10 is provided lest the tops 7a of key wave should fit to the fitting parts 9e, 10e of the tumblers 9, 10 when the key is inserted into the keyhole 6, in the condition that the key rotor 5 is not inserted in the cylinder body 1. The key 7 is inserted in the keyhole 6 by the recessions 16a, 17a provided on the rotor can 14 and also the transfer of the tumblers 9, 10 is allowed to force the key tops 7a to fit to the fitting parts 9e, 10e.
