Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of kinds of key codes without increasing number of tumblers.
SOLUTION: This cylinder block is formed by a holder 1 and a cylinder body 10, and the cylinder body 10 is provided with the tumbler 21 where a cutout part 23 formed in the side edge part by insertion of a key is aligned, and a side bar 28 engaged with an engagement groove of the holder 1 before the key is inserted and engaged with the cutout part 23 of the tumbler 21 by insertion of the key. Tumbler insertion holes 12 for inserting the respective tumblers 21 are formed in the cylinder main body 10, the side edge part where the cutout parts 23 for the tumblers 21 are not formed is provided with a spring bearing part 24 for a spring energizing the respective tumblers 21, thereby selectively storing the spring to energize the tumbler 21 in the inserting direction or in anti-inserting direction to the tumbler insert hole 12 of the cylinder main body 10.
