Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent machining accuracy from dropping in machining particularly a thin-walled cylinder.
SOLUTION: A cylindrically machined work W is held by a work holding tube 5, one end of the cylinder is held by a chuck 3, and the fitting shaft part 6k of a center 6 is fitted supportedly into a tube hole 5h at the other end side of the work holding tube 5. The work W and work holding tube 5 are rotated about the axis thereof integrally with each other, and the outer peripheral surface of the work W is finished with a turning tool 4.
