Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder-making device which can feed an article to be packaged in a formed film while forming and moving the film in the lateral direction.
SOLUTION: When a band-shaped film 20, being wound on a cylinder-making die 14 of which the cross section is an up-side down groove shape, being formed on a machine base by a member 16, is pulled in the direction shown by arrow A, the film 20 is formed into a square cylindrical shape around the cylinder making die 14, and moves. On the top and the bottom of the cylinder making die 14, pressing plates 11, 29 are respectively provided, and also, a pressing plate (not shown in the sketch) is provided on both sides as well, and at the corners of the square cylindrical shape film which is formed by the cylinder making die 14, a pleat 31 is formed by a rib 15 which respectively protrudes to the outside from the four corner parts of the cylinder making die 14, and when the square cylindrical film is pressed by the top and the bottom pressing plates 11, 29, behind the cylinder making die, a heat bar flatly welds the pleat 31.
