Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent the occurrence an overlap between the rolling region of a roller on the inner peripheral surface of an outer ring and a contact region with the outer peripheral surface of a retainer.
SOLUTION: A cylinder rolling bearing is an N-type wherein the inner peripheral surface 2a of an outer ring 2 forms a straight cylindrical surface and flange parts 5 are arranged on both sides in an axial direction of an inner ring 1. A retainer 4 is guided with the outer peripheral surface 4al of the retainer brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface 2a of the outer ring 2. A removed part 4b is formed in the outer peripheral surface of a retainer 4. The rolling region S of a cylinder roller 3 on the inner peripheral surface 2a of the outer ring 2 and a contact region with which the outer peripheral surface 4al of the retainer 4 made contact are axially separated from each other.
