PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of slip off and dusting and to perform forced cooling by feeding a substance to be conveyed from the one end of an inclining cylinder and taking it out from the other end through rotation of the cylinder, in a cylinder type conveyor for a powdery material.

CONSTITUTION: A powdery material is elevated by a bucket elevator 1 and fed to a rotating inclining cylinder conveyor 3 through a chute 2. The powdery material is rolled down within the cylinder conveyor 3 and discharged through the chute 4. In this case, when cooling is needed, cold air is introduced from the chute 4 side and ventilated to the bucket elevator 1 side.
