PURPOSE: To improve the bubble cut-off capacity for the hook-shaped pattern by setting the vertical angle of the first chevron column in the first branched transfer path smaller than the veritical angle of the first chevron column in the second branched transfer path.
CONSTITUTION: The bubble is transferred from the right side of the diagram along the transfer path is changed to magnetic domain 6 in an extended form at chevron column 1 and then divided into two parts right after reaching over chevron column 7 and 8. In this case, a difference is given as shown in the diagram for the vertical angles between the first chevron column 7 and 8 in branched transfer path 3 and 4. As a result, the phase range is narrowed for the rotary magnetic field where the bubble is trapped into bar-shaped pattern 5 via column 8, and is then widened by column 7 so that the bubble is trapped near the right edge of column 7. Therefore, one end of the bubble is at near the center of column 8 as for the rotary magnetic field phase, and the other end is at the right edge of column 7 respectively. Thus, the bubble cut-off capacity can be enhanced for the hook-shaped pattern
