Abstract:
The cylindrical linear motor (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a stator (S) having a cylindrical field system (6) in which N-poles and S-poles are alternately disposed in the axial direction; and a mover (M) having an armature (A) and inserted into the stator (S) so as to freely move in the axial direction, said armature (A) having cylindrical cores (2A), (2B), each of which has a plurality of slots (4) facing the field system (6), and three-phase windings (5) mounted in the slots (4). The cylindrical linear motor (1) is configured such that: lead-out wires (5b) on the power supply side, which are connected to the windings (5) of the respective phases, are connected to the windings (5) from one end side of the armature (A) in the axial direction; the windings (5) of the respective phases are connected in a star configuration on the other end side of the armature (A) in the axial direction; and the connection points (J1), (J2) of the windings (5) of the respective phases are disposed at positions where the connection points (J1), (J2) do not interfere with the stator (S) even if the armature (A) is stroked to a stroke end with respect to the stator (S).
