To provide a cylindrical reinforcing bar joint wherein reinforced concrete members can be quickly and efficiently connected to each other.
A cylindrical reinforcing bar joint for a reinforced concrete member 3 forms a prescribed size gap by a plurality of splice reinforcing bars 4 and a surrounding reinforcing bar 5 connected to vertically be disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the splice reinforcing bars. In the case, an interval between the splice reinforcing bars 4 and another interval between the surrounding reinforcing bars 5 are larger than the maximum particle of aggregate of concrete filled into a joint part. The total cross section of the splice reinforcing bar 4 surrounded by the surrounding reinforcing bar 5 is larger than the total cross section of a main reinforcing bar 1 surrounded by the surrounding reinforcing bar 5. When tension force corresponding to rupture strength is applied on the main reinforcing bar 1, the quality and diameter of the surrounding reinforcing bar is determined so that stress applied on the surrounding reinforcing bar 5 is not more than the yield point of the surrounding reinforcing bar. The length of the splice reinforcing bar 4 is 18 times more than the diameter of the main reinforcing bar 1.
