Abstract:

To provide a cylindrical roller bearing in which projection and edge load in the contact part of an inner ring collar surface and a roller end surface are hardly generated when axial load is applied to the cylindrical roller bearing.

Either a roller end surface Fr or an inner ring collar surface Ff to be brought into contact with the roller end surface through a contract ellipse A has a projecting curved surface. The main radius of curvature of the section of the end surface Fr formed on a main curvature surface 2 passing the axis Ln (paper surface) of an inner ring N and the center of the contact ellipse A is taken as Rr2, Rr1, and the main radius of curvature of the section of the inner ring collar surface formed on a main axial ratio surface 1 perpendicular to the main curvature surface 2 and the surface of the contact ellipse A and passing the center of the contact ellipse A is taken as Rf2, Rf1. The relationship between the curvatures is set to (1/Rf1)-(1/Rf2)+(1/Rr1)-(1/Rr2)<0.
