Abstract:
A cylindrical body supporting device includes a pair of holders (327) for respectively supporting both end sides in an axial direction of a rotary screen cylinder, and a pair of first eccentric bearings (301) for rotatably supporting the pair of holders (327). The cylindrical body supporting device also includes an adjusting screw (303), a spur gear (304), a spline gear (305), lateral motors (306) and the like collectively used for moving the pair of holders (327) through the pair of first eccentric bearings (301), and a control device (340) for activating the lateral motors (306) to allow the pair of holders (327) to approach and recede along the axial direction and thereby to support and release the cylindrical body and for activating the lateral motors (306) to synchronously move the pair of holders (327) in an identical amount in the same direction along the axial direction and thereby to move the cylindrical body in the axial direction.
