Abstract:
To provide a cylindrical work retainer capable of retaining a cylindrical work in a non-contact state.SOLUTION: The cylindrical work retainer has a suction block. The suction block has a suction surface facing the surface of a cylindrical work. The suction surface has a compressed gas outlet for ejecting compressed gas into the gap formed by the cylindrical work and the suction surface. The suction block has a compressed gas inlet for introducing the compressed gas, and a flow path communicating the compressed gas outlet and the gas inlet. The suction surface has a surface that is approximately perpendicular to the vertical direction and holds the cylindrical work horizontally.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
