PURPOSE: To improve efficiency in separating dust by communicating the inside of a dust discharge pipe provided in a bottomed cylindrical case with the inside of the case and forming a dust discharge part having a rectangular development over the side and bottom walls of the case orthogonally to a spiral flow.
CONSTITUTION: A filter element 12 is set in the bottomed cylindrical case 1 having an inlet 4 in its side wall 3 and an outlet 6 in the bottom wall 5. A cyclone blade 17 for forming a spiral flow is provided between the element 12 and the inlet 4, and a dust discharge pipe 20 is provided to the case 1. The inside of the dust discharge pipe 20 is communicated with the inside of the case 1, and the dust discharge port 22 having a rectangular development is formed over the side wall 3 of the case 1 and bottom wall 5 orthogonally to the spiral flow. Consequently, efficiency in separating dust is improved.
