Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cytochalasin-like substance group extracted from an osmotic pressure-resistant yeast Zygosaccharomyces rouxii present in the world of nature and provide a method for producing the substance group.
SOLUTION: This method for producing cytochalasin-like substance group comprises (1) independently cultivating the yeast Zygosaccharomyces rouxi and then extracting the cytochalasin-like substance group from the culture medium or (2) cultivating the yeast Zygosacchromyces rouxii in a culture medium containing a sugar, e.g. glucose or the like, followed by extracting the cytochalasin-like substance group with an organic solvent, e.g. ethyl acetate or the like, and completely evaporating the organic solvent.
