Abstract:
To provide a DC motor capable of performing drainage.SOLUTION: A DC motor comprises: brush holders 340 each holding a brush 30 in an accommodated state; and a housing 80 including a cylindrical part 81 and accommodating the brush holder 340 therein in a state where a rear end 348 is opposed to an inner peripheral surface 81A of the cylindrical part. The rear end 348 includes: projected portions 348B in which an opposed surface 348A to the inner peripheral surface 81A of the cylindrical part 81 extends radially outside in a projected shape along the inner peripheral surface 81A of the cylindrical part 81; and a separate portion 348C which is provided between the projected portions 348B at both sides in a circumferential direction, with the opposed surface 348A thereof separated from the inner peripheral surface 81A of the cylindrical part 81 farther than that of the projected portions 348B. A through hole 349 penetrating the holder of the brushes 30 between inside and outside the holder is provided in the separate portion 348C of the rear end 348.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
