Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide overvoltage protection that is different from the conventional art.SOLUTION: A control circuit 14 drives a switching transistor M1 so that an output voltage Vof a DC/DC converter 10 approaches a target value. When the output voltage Vof the DC/DC converter 10 becomes larger than a first threshold voltage, an OVP circuit 16 is activated to act on the control circuit 14 so as to stop switching of the switching transistor M1 or reduce a duty ratio of the switching transistor M1. In addition, the OVP circuit 16 is deactivated when the output voltage Vbecomes lower than a second threshold voltage set to be lower than the first threshold voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
