Title:
DAIZO-BASE HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57210892
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve color density and head matching properties, by using a water-soluble double salt as a diazo compound, and a styrene resin, having a molecular weight of 1,000 or more and a melting point or a softening point of 90°C or higher, as a binder.

CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble double salt is used as a diazo compound constituting heat-sensitive recording material wherein a heat-sensitive layer is formed on a support to improve light sensitivity. Incorporation of a heat-fusible or heat-softening material to satisfy the responsiveness of the heat-sensitive layer after causes sticking. In order to prevent this, a styrene resin having a molecular weight of 1,000 or more, preferably 2,000W500,000 and a melting point or a softening point of 90°C, preferably 100W150°C, such as styrene homopolymer or a copolymer of styrene and acrylonitryle, is used.
