Title:
DAM INFLOW RATE ARITHMETIC PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0374707
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten a smoothing time and to speedily output an estimated inflow rate by setting weights in an average operation and controlling the prospective contribution of the apparent and sudden change of a pondage for the estimated inflow rate. CONSTITUTION:The latest prescribed number is taken out from a virtual inflow rate which is time-sequentially stored in a virtual inflow rate arithmetic circuit14 and the average operation is executed. The average operation is executed by assigning the maximum weight on the virtual inflow rate at the latest time among the virtual inflow rates which are taken out, and assigning a weight less than a prescribed value on the virtual inflow rate at a time previous to said time. When waves are generated on the surface of a dam and the pondage used for the virtual inflow rate apparently and suddenly changes in such a case, the sudden change of the virtual inflow rate following the sudden change of the pondage is contributed in such a way that the estimated inflow rate at the time of the sudden change is considered to be important, and comparatively small contribution is given to the estimated inflow rate at a subsequent time. Thus, the estimated inflow rate can be obtained by speedily following the actual change of the inflow rate for the dam.
