Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily adjust the gap with the peripheral surface of a roller without changing a spray angle by making a spray mechanism movable and adjustable while making the cover prescribing the scattering of a dampening liquid to be sprayed stretchable.
CONSTITUTION: When a clamping bolt 32 is loosened and an adjusting male screw lever 34 is revolved in an appropriate direction in the adjustment of the distance between a nozzle and a roller R1 to be sprayed, a spray mechanism is displaced axially along the female hole 15 of a block 12 to be moved as a whole through blocks 33, 17. At this time, both sides in the longitudinal direction of a spray mechanism are equally moved by both side movement adjusting means 13 and the cover 16 on the side of the spray mechanism of a cover is together moved through the blocks 33, 17 and the cover is stretched and contracted at the fitting overlap part of the roller with the covers 11, 16 on the side of the spray mechanism. When the distance between the nozzle and the roller R1 to be sprayed becomes proper, the clamp bolt 32 is fastened to position the spray mechanism and the cover 16 on the side the spray mechanism is positioned.
