To provide a damper device with high closing performance even in a high temperature.
The damper device comprises a rotating shaft 3 arranged in the radial direction of a tube 4 constituting a duct, and a tabular damper 2 rotatable around the rotating shaft 3. The tube 4 is cylindrical, and the damper 2 is elliptical. The damper 2 is constituted so that, between a first body plate 15 with stiffness and a second body plate 16 with stiffness, a seal plate 14 composed of an elliptical thin metal plate is sandwiched, and in the seal plate 14, the outer periphery portion extended outward from each of the body plates 15, 16 is constituted as a seal portion 20 with flexibility. The state of the damper 2 inclined at a designated angle with respect to the crossing direction with the axial direction of the tube 4 is set to be a full closing position of the duct by the damper 2, and at a full closing position, each of the body plates 15, 16 is made to contact with the inner face of the tube 4, and the seal portion 20 is contacted with the inner face of the tube 4 in such a manner of slack deformation.
