PURPOSE: To absorb rotational vibration between first and second steps when inputting or when a clutch is rapidly engaged, etc. to reduce noise by engaging a window hole for second step of a subplate with a torsion spring for second step so that a clearance for forming a zone unmoved by a spring may be formed in the circumferential direction.
CONSTITUTION: When torque rapidly becomes large from zero, similar to the case where a clutch is quickly engaged, a side plate 3 and a subplate 8 are twisted forward in the direction of rotation relative to a flange 2, like the case of small twisting, to compress a torsion spring 31 for first step, assuming that the side plate 3 is twisted forward from its stopped state. After a subpin 20 is abutted against the front end edge 21, the side plate 3 and a torsion spring 37 for second step are twisted relative to the subplate 8 and the flange 2 in the range of torsion corresponding to a clearance (d) for forming a zone unmoved by a spring. At this time, the torsion spring 37 for second step is not compressed, only a slip of a friction member 12 for second step is produced, and rotational vibration is absorbed by friction.
