PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a damper capable of being provided at various open-close bodies such an overhead door by simple and rapid mounting works, to combine the closing holding and opening assistance of the open-close body and a damping function, etc., at the time of closing in the open-close body and to improve even safety in the damper.
SOLUTION: A mounting case 3 is mounted on the side-plate interior wall 1j of an opening body 1a, and a rotating arm 7 pivotally attached to the mounting case 3 by an arm shaft 7a is linked with the open-close body 1e directly or indirectly and used. When the open-close body 1e is closed, a spring-holding travelling body 5 in the mounting case 3 in pushed by a compression spring 4, and revolving torque of R1 is urged to the rotating arm 7 by a linkage pivot shaft 6a through a link arm 6 pivotally attached by a pivot shaft 6b and a close state can be held. When the open-close body 1e is opened gradually, the linkage pivot shaft 6a is transferred to the left side of an axial center line L, the rotating arm 7 receives revolving torque to R2 by the compression spring 4, door-opening operation is assisted, and damping force works at the time of closing and slow closing movement is also ensured.
