Abstract:
To provide a damper of which the torque characteristics can be easily adjusted as desired.SOLUTION: A damper 2 includes a housing 4, a rotary member 6 rotatably supported inside the housing 4, and suppressing means 8 for suppressing an increase in the rotating speed of the rotary member 6, the rotary member 6 including a disc-like primary part 34, the primary part 34 having a plurality of arc-shaped recessed parts 34a formed in the outer peripheral face, the suppressing means 8 including a coil spring 42 mounted at one end 42a to the housing 4, and mounted at the other end 42b to the rotary member 6, a preload spring 46 for pushing a preload ball 44 against the outer peripheral face of the primary part 34 of the rotary member 6, and an adjustment screw 48 for adjusting the compression amount of the preload spring 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
