Abstract:

PURPOSE: To miniaturize an inverter device and to reduce its cost by reducing the capacity of a damping resistor installed at the DC intermediate circuit of a voltage-type inverter device for driving an induction motor and eliminating its need.
CONSTITUTION: A regeneration power detector 5 for detecting the regeneration power from an induction motor 3 to be absorbed by a capacitor CF via an inverter part 2 is provided, the detection signal by the detector 5 is added to a function generator 15 in an inverter control circuit 10, and then a voltage command compensation value to be calculated for the inverter output voltage command value on power running generated by a voltage command generator 13 is calculated and generated by a function generator. Further, the ratio of inverter output voltage command value against frequency on damping control is made larger than the value on the power running to excessively excite the motor and the decelerate the motor due to the increase in the internal heat loss.
