When the timekeeping value of the file Fa reaches a predetermined value T, the processing to backup the file Fa in the hard disk 20 to a backup server 40 is executed by a backup executing means 54, and the timekeeping of the file Fa is stopped. When the storage operation of the file Fa is detected again, the timekeeping from 0 is resumed.
