PURPOSE: To access a data base fast without operator's operation and to enable a user to freely structure and refer to the data base by assigning a data area of the data base for each termination telephone number and each origination telephone number.
CONSTITUTION: Data areas of the data base 5 are assigned by termination telephone numbers and origination telephone numbers and the termination telephone numbers are made to correspond to the kinds of the data base. When termination is actuated from a private branch exchange 1 with plural termination telephone numbers, request contents from the user are analyzed and the data base 5 is accessed according to the analysis result and the received termination telephone numbers and termination telephone numbers to inform the user of the access result. Consequently, information corresponding to a request from a general user 10 is processed fast without the intervention of an operator and the user can freely structure and refer to the data base.
