Abstract:

To provide a data collecting apparatus periodically collecting data showing the operating situation of a business machine, and also, collecting information showing the operating situation of the business machine as necessary even at an optional time, and also to provide a data collecting program.

The data showing the operating situation is collected from each digital compound machine in intranet at the preset periodical collection date and time, and also, the data showing the operating situation is collected (S17) from each digital compound machine in the intranet in accordance with the data collection demand from a manager etc. (S16) at a timing other than the periodical collection date and time. Besides, when the past date and time is specified in the data collection demand, the data showing the operating situation in the specified date and time is collected from each digital compound machine.
