Abstract:
To provide a data compression device and a data compression method capable of improving compressibility ratio, reliability and portability of data.SOLUTION: A compression engine calculates a replacement CRC code for each predetermined data length with respect to plain sentence data with DIF containing plain sentence data and a plurality of CRC codes based on the plain sentence data. The compression engine generates compressed sentence data with header provided by applying the header containing the replacement CRC code to the compressed sentence data provided by compressing the plain sentence data, and calculates the plurality of CRC codes based on the compressed sentence data with header and applies to the compressed data with header, to generate compressed data with code.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
